Ever since I was a child living in Boulder Colorado, I have always been fascinated by nature. In second grade I moved to Jacksonville Florida where I easily adjusted to the laidback beachgoing lifestyle but part of me has always longed for the humbling vastness one finds in the west. I recently graduated from Florida State University (Go Noles!) with a degree in Geography and Environmental Studies. Through my classes I have learned that I am most passionate about the importance of sustainability within the realm of environmental protection, as well as the increasingly threatened management of food and water resources. My favorite things to do are explore new places, cook and eat delicious food, watch football, and, being an avid music lover, I enjoy attending concerts and music festivals. I am extremely open minded and I like to ponder the complex ideas surrounding existence and the human experience. To sum things up, I am immensely grateful and excited to be meeting new people with similar interests and making some positive change in one of the most beautiful and pristine places in the world!
