I grew up in the twin cities and spent the summers enjoying the outdoors at a cabin near Hinckley. I graduated from Michigan Tech University in 2010 with a degree in environmental engineering and a minor in ecology. I spent that last two years working at a taconite mine in northern MN. Taconite is not pronounced taco-night. I love xc skiing, snowshoeing, biking, _____ (insert outdoor activity here), playing guitar poorly, watching movies, traveling, and eating. A lot. I was once a sled dog handler, and dream of get-rich-quick schemes like panning for gold, inventing a va-poo-rizer, and robbing banks. I’ll be spending the next 5 months in Idaho, can’t wait for the ensuing adventures!
