I have a background in art history, anthropology, museum studies, and yoga. I have worked as a curatorial assistant for non-western art departments at museums in Kansas, Denver, Cleveland, and Baltimore. I hiked about half the AT three years ago and I’d like to hike more, and more, and more. Although museum work has been good to me, I’m eager to spring out of the office-cage and computer screen glow to more deeply explore and help protect the natural world that so inspired the artworks I’ve studied for years. I teach hot yoga, I play the violin (badly), and I love bluegrass music and getting my hands dirty. I’m excited to be part of the SCA program in Idaho and to start a new path in life, hopefully incorporating my interest in ancient life-ways with my love of the land and the institutions that help to protect it.
