Biography
I have experienced all sorts of adventures in the last few years and am elated to add Wildcorps to the list!
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in World Religions in 2012, I spent a year living in Brooklyn, New York, working at a coffee shop and taking it easy. During my time in the city, I became interested in John Muir and his work for the conservation and preservation of American wilderness and discovered the SCA.
Soon after, I packed up and drove across the country toward the eastern Sierra where I had secured a Visitor Services & Interpretation internship at Devils Postpile National Monument in Mammoth Lakes, California. My first summer in the Sierra was incredible and I can’t wait to experience the contrast of life in the desert!
I love being outside, whether it be hiking in the wilderness, climbing on rocks, or swimming in oceans, and making all sorts of crafts too. I’m not sure what I’ll end up doing for the rest of my life, but if it involves living and working in wild places I’ll be a happy girl.
