The Student Conservation Association (SCA) is proud to count Southwest Airlines as a long-time partner in building the next generation of conservation leaders. Since 1957, SCA has mobilized more than 90,000 youth and community volunteers in service to the environment.
In addition to volunteering with SCA throughout the year, Southwest Airlines employees may join SCA at any of our Earth Month events in April listed below or may contact SCA for help creating a conservation-related service project on-site. Whether you’re looking to spend a few hours outdoors or you prefer a quick activity that only requires a few minutes while you’re shopping, SCA can help you put your Heart in Action!

1What is an outdoor team-based event?
Bring your colleagues along with friends and family to conserve local parks, waterways, and green spaces. Find a project near you or offer to help SCA create a new event in your community! Groups and all ages welcome.
2What is an on-site event?
Prefer to stay in the office or only have a few minutes to spare? SCA youth leaders can bring a hands-on conservation project, such as a seed ball event, to your office or city code location. Employee volunteers can literally get their hands dirty and make a big impact, even without advance notice.
