My name is Emily Barry. I come from the luscious lands of the Pacific Northwest where I was born, raised and educated. In December 2012, I graduated from Western Washington University with a BS in Environmental Science. I feel like superwoman when I am tromping through mud in my rubber boots. For years, I have been passionate about living in a sustainable community, building meaningful relationships and giving youngsters the opportunity to feel a part of this magical world. As part of NHCC, I feel I am thriving in my natural habitat. If I could be any animal, I would be a wolf because they are independent, yet stay true to their pack, they are playful, and I imagine they take very deep, cleansing breaths.
