Darrin Gobble

•

Hey! My name is Darrin Gobble. That is Gobble just the way it is spelled, like the turkey. And no, I don’t care much for Thanksgiving. I am really looking forward to spending the next year with a new group of people in the Southern Californ-I-A deserts. I love camping, hiking, kayaking, biking. I don’t leave my house without my banjo.  I’m currently doing exotic plant management for the National Park Service here at Fort Pulaski National Monument in beautiful Savannah, GA. My past experiences include interning for the NPS in Congaree National Park for the South East Coast Exotic Plant Management team and interning for the Forest Service in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness doing invasive plant control. I’m a huge plant nerd and love learning new species especially from areas of the country I’m not familiar with. I’m sure this will be a great opportunity for some quality work and fun. I can’t wait to meet the rest of the crew.
