SCA Detroit caravanned out to Plymouth, Michigan to visit the creator and primary sponsor of the Conservation Leadership Corps, Johnson Controls, Inc.
Johnson Controls employees hosted workshops on what green jobs are available at Johnson Controls, green technology that allows them to use fewer fossil fuels and valuable job development skills needed to enter the green industry.
Crew leaders and members gained a greater awareness and understanding of how important education and a strong work ethic are in entering the green industry and achieving professional goals.
