After hours of driving through the beautiful Oregon woods, my family and I reached our “mystery tour’s” destination. I was seven years old and anxious to finally see where we were going. Mystery tour destination: Crater Lake! My love for the outdoors and geology were cemented in those first moments of seeing Crater Lake for the first time.
I was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. Growing up, my family and I took many road trips around the country. If we weren’t on the road, we were at home with our parade of pets. At 10 years old, I moved with my family to New York. During my schooling in NY I was involved in a United Nations Conference and project with students from around the world. In high school and college I was part of the respective environmental clubs, leading various fundraisers and donation collections, events, trail and beach clean-ups, etc. I recently graduated from a local community college and am going to continue to pursue my education in conservation so future generations can take and enjoy their own mystery tours.
I’m looking forward to this amazing opportunity and working with this great group of people!
