Hi! I am Claire Dedrick, from Berkeley, California. I love to be
outside and spent a lot of my childhood hiking and camping in the
world’s greatest mountain range – the Sierra Nevada of CA – and along the
west coast. In high school, I did an SCA summer crew, and fell in love
with trail work and hanging out in the backcountry. Since then, I
attended the University of California in San Diego, where I studied
Earth Science and spent lots of time on the beach in the sun, and
spent summers in Washington doing trail work in the Cascades. I am
super excited to share my love of the outdoors and nature as a SCA NH
corps member, and also to explore and learn about a new area and
experience my first real winter.
