Looking for fun activities during Earth Month? Head to your closest national park April 20-28 to enjoy National Park Week programs and events!
Each April, the National Park Service and its official charity, the National Park Foundation, partner to celebrate with special events, programs, and volunteer opportunities.
To kick off National Park Week, all national park entrance fees will be waived on April 20. There are also special days planned throughout the week to showcase different ways visitors can enjoy national parks:
- April 20: National Junior Ranger Day
- April 21: Military & Veterans Recognition Day
- April 22: Earth Day
- April 23: Transportation Tuesday
- April 24: Wild Wednesday
- April 25: Throwback Thursday
- April 26: Friendship Friday
- April 27: Bark Ranger Day
- April 28: Park Rx Day
