The mission of the Student Conservation Association (SCA) is to build the next generation of conservation leaders. They engage young people (age 15 to young adults) in hands-on service to the environment in order to inspire lifelong stewardship of the land. They target high school and college students, or recent graduates interested in green careers from all 50 states and from all socio-economic backgrounds.
SCA Pittsburgh works on projects like improving and restoring parks and building pop-up play places for kids to play in their neighborhoods, while they gain life skills and learn about the environment.
On Monday, October 19th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. we have a delicious way that you can help raise funds for SCA Pittsburgh. Come to Chipotle Market Square at 211 Forbes Ave in Pittsburgh on that day and present this flyer, or show it on your smartphone, or tell the cashier you’re supporting the cause, and 50% of the cost of your dinner will be donated to Student Conservation Association!
This is an easy and yummy way to help out youth in our community as they help the environment!
