I grew up in Southwest Virginia and went to school at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. I graduated with a degree in Sustainable Development in Dec. 2010 and since then have been traveling intermittently with Boone as my home base. I have been living out of my car, a tent, living rooms, and hostels – traveling and rock climbing as much as my budget will allow. When I wasn’t traveling I was working for a company that makes rock-climbing equipment. I am now excited to be gaining more experience in the conservation field.
