I grew up in a town right outside of Philadelphia, PA. I just graduated from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, where I studied environmental science with a focus on mapping and recreation. I started working with SCA in 2006 as a high school crew member. Since then I have done three high school crews (’06, ’07, ’08) and an internship with SCA in 2009. Last summer I worked with SCA’s National High School Program as a crew leader where I lead a crew in Denali National Park and the Canada/US crew where our time was spent between the backcountry in Manning Provincial Park and North Cascades National Park. I also spent a summer working on trails with the Forest Service in Utah in 2010. When not working I like to cook and do almost everything imaginable in the outdoors from mountain biking to mountaineering.
