Hi, my name is Alexander Chopski and I am 27 years old. I was born and raised in Bulgaria. I immigrated to the USA with my family in 1998 and have lived in NYC ever since. I joined the Army in 2006 and served as an infantryman in 3rd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment for three years. My tours include two deployments to OIF/OEF. After I completed my active duty service in 2009, I went back to school and received a BA in Economics from the City College of New York. I chose not to pursue a desk job for the time being and applied to the program in order to gain some training/experience to get a more suitable job in the great outdoors as a wildland firefighter. I love the outdoors and exploring new places. I enjoy hiking, biking, playing soccer and just spending quality time in mother nature.
