Ever since I graduated from college in 2009 I’ve been involved with the SCA. From my first position in remote Alaska to co-leading Alternative Spring Break in Joshua Tree this spring- it’s been an incredible trip and I can’t stop coming back for more.
It’s been a while since I’ve had a straight-forward answer to the question of where I’m from- but I’ll never let go of my midwestern roots… I’ll always call Wisconsin home even though the West has captivated me for the time being. This season I’ll call the backcountry of Idaho my home. I look forward to encountering some wolves and sleeping the sleep that only comes after a good hard day of working and living outside. When I’m not out digging in the dirt I like to cook, listen to music and play my cello, and get outside every day to hike, climb, bike, and otherwise play around and explore the great outdoors, which I just like to call my playground.
