Abram (Abe) Peterson grew up in Minnesota, splitting his time between the Twin Cities and some of the more northern reaches of the state. Drawn by the allure of bountiful snowfalls, he moved to the U.P. of Michigan to study Environmental Engineering at Michigan Technological University. During his tenure at Michigan Tech, he was able to compete with the nordic ski team, travel to India to help a village get clean water, and worked with students from around the world to ease their transition into U.S. culture and develop their English skills. During his free time he enjoys exploring the outdoors, running, hiking, biking, skiing, fishing and cooking. He is very excited to spend the next few months in Idaho, and looks forward to new adventures in the Salmon-Challis.
