Who is SCA?

Annie Fehrenbach

SCA members are high school and college-age volunteers from all academic and personal backgrounds who are committed to conservation and interested in gaining real, hands-on experience.

They build trails, restore habitat, guide interpretive hikes, study plants and animals, and participate in many other conservation-related projects in America’s urban and rural parks and public lands.

SCA is supported by our valued donors and partners who make these opportunities possible each year.

SCA’s Board of Directors and National Council provide leadership and guidance to a staff of 200 that works in the field and in five offices around the country.
