With City Kids Wilderness Project, I'm taking urban youth out to Wyoming this summer so they have a chance to connect with the earth!
I serve by getting down and dirty to teach New York City kids about the incredible wildlife in their own urban environment.
I serve by getting youth unplugged, outdoors, and connected with nature so they can develop conservation-minded stewardship for the natural world around them!
We serve by improving our city parks!

Camp in the rain. Support local parks.
I recycle everything I possibly can, I turn the shower off while shampooing and soaping my skin, I combine all my errands into one trip and do that as sort of a circle so I'm not backtracking, I open the windows in the car instead of using the AC, I encourage others to be environmentally responsible when I can, I sign every petition I can find on environmental issues and preserving and protecting our habitat and animals. I just planted a bird bath garden with many different flowers that attract hummingbirds and butterflies. I will be planting yet another garden this weekend down the side of my house with more butterfly and hummingbird attractant plants.
