Visitor Center Intern

You will serve as a Visitor Services Specialist, and provide visitor services at busy visitor center. You will also help staff front desk, interact with visitors, sell maps and passes, staff historic cabin, help conduct environmental education programs, and other assorted duties. Other tasks may be out on trails and trailheads, or in campgrounds. EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES: You will have the opportunity to attend public meetings that involve determining future management of the Red River Gorge. This position is not AmeriCorp eligible.
