Trail Maintenance and Construction Intern

Your responsibilities will include assisting with routine maintenance and repairs of trails. The work will consist of repairing rock retaining walls; hauling and spreading trail surface materials; repair and installation of earth and rock drains such as water bars; building and repairing foot bridges; repairing and replacing trail signs; selective brushing of vegetation growing over trails; and flagging for new trails in the park.
Required Skills:
Ability and willingness to undergo a required criminal history background check; excellent physical condition and ability to perform hard physical labor; willingness and ability to learn skills for this project and successfully work as part of a team.
