Is this a necessary sight? Because I see it all the time and it drives me nuts.

New Orleans was very exciting for me – I got to catch up with a college friend who I have not seen since we graduated 5 years ago. Lord! How time flies...

Seeing as Kentucky is the land of the thoroughbreds, I thought it appropriate to begin this trip where the legend begins…Churchill Downs. What a place!

Unfortunately, there’s not too much to say about University of Central Florida, other than, it’s in Orlando!! The weather is incredible. And there’s a pool in the middle of campus. Wow. How do people study at this school?
I couldn’t resist spending a lazy day on the beach – so I did!
It’s raining. I’m not sure there is more depressing weather than rain in winter. Everything is grey and dismal. But then again…is this winter?
The Southern Classic...Boil'd Peanuts - surefire way to raise spirits!! Mmmm,,,

Well, since I have to make my way up north, I decided to spend my weekend staying with an old college friend who is getting her Master’s Degree in Public Health at Emory University. My sister used to live in Atlanta, so I know the town reasonably well. But I had never seen this town in snow!
Ahh the sunny beaches of Florida…but wait! There’s no sun here, and frankly, its cold!
Well, the beginning of this week I had the pleasure of working with the fabulous Daniel Parr, the newly hired EarthVision PR Intern for SCA.

So it's the weekend, so of course the weather forecast is rain. BOOOOO! I'm booing the weather gods, they better hear me and tighten up! Well, there's always laundry day.
