Not every SCA program fits into the same mold. In addition to our individual internships and corps programs, SCA offers several special programs for candidates with unique qualifications.

CAREER DISCOVERY INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Since 2008, SCA and the US Fish and Wildlife Service have placed hundreds of first and second-year college students on a professional pathway through this award-winning initiative.

FWS DIRECTORATE FELLOWS

SCA is partnering with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) to administer the 2020 FWS Directorate Resource Assistant Fellows Program (DFP) for students who are interested in a conservation career. 

NPS ACADEMY

Let SCA introduce you to the wide array of career opportunities in the National Park Service. Start with a Spring Break visit to a national park, followed by a summer-long internship.

NYS NATURAL RESOURCE STEWARD PROGRAM

Come hike, paddle and camp in the NY State Adirondacks to help protect natural resources and educate the public on proper use of state lands

SCA offers a range of career training programs targeted to recent military veterans seeking job opportunities in the environmental field.
