This SCA internship will primarily work toward creating a research bibliography representing all research completed within the national seashore and outer Cape Cod.

Aquatic Ecology Intern

Your responsibilities will include: using non-motorized watercraft (canoe/kayak) to sample water quality in kettle ponds, (50%); assisting with other aquatic resource monitoring projects, (30%); providing laboratory analysis.

Aquatic Ecology Intern

You will use non-motorized watercraft (canoe/kayak) to sample water quality in kettle ponds (50%), assist with estuarine resource monitoring projects (30%), and you’ll provide laboratory analysis and written documentation of field sampling (20%).

Interpretation Intern

Perform natural & cultural interpretation at the Memorial Visitor Center and surrounding grounds. Conduct tours, give orientation, show films, assist at information desk, & collect entrance fees. Develop & implement Junior Ranger Day programs for kids.

Experience diverse field work involved in resource management of southeastern Utah’s national parks. Monitor vegetation and water in this dramatic canyon country. Assist with restoration activities and informally interpreting these activities to visitors.

Shorebird Intern

Shorebird Intern will assist in maintaining protection signs and fences. Conduct daily observations of breeding shorebirds.
