Your responsibilities will include assisting with routine maintenance and repairs of trails, maintaining and improving building, grounds, vehicles, heavy equipment and watercraft. The work will consist of carpentry, masonry, painting, repairing rock retaining walls; hauling and spreading trail surface materials; repair and installation of earth and rock drains; building and repairing foot bridges; repairing and replacing trail signs; selective brushing of vegetation growing over trails; and flagging for new trails in the Refuge.   Additional work will include the documentation and completion of a creating, maintaining and/or improving assigned species specific habitat areas. You must perform to industry standards, and in a safe manner, a variety of semi-skilled duties.  You must be able to use computers for work such as sending and receiving e-mails, completing weekly work reports.  Must have a valid drivers license. Must have experience with hand and power tools.  Must be willing to be trained on heavy equipment operation and ATV operation.  Should have vehicle and watercraft mechanic experience.
