Position ID
Assist the Jimmy Carter National Historic Site Facilities Management Staff with a variety of administrative tasks including scheduling, inventory, office management, property management and project administration. This position will consist primarily of computer and office work but grounds keeping and janitorial tasks may also be assigned. The Intern will utilize NPS databases and should be familiar with MS Office software. The Intern will gain experience managing and maintaining historic structures and cultural landscapes. 
  • Plains, GA is a small town located in SW GA, approximately 160 miles south of Atlanta and 125 miles north of
    Tallahassee. Nearby cities include Americus, GA (10 mi. Pop. 17k), Albany, GA (40 mi. Pop. 77k) and Columbus, GA (50 mi. Pop. 200,000).
  • Training will be a available for the use of a variety of NPS databases, records management, and safety.
