Lock 51 is located along the C&O Canal near Hancock Visitor Center. Lock 51 was covered in select areas with Licorise Root, Mile A Minute and Ailanthus Saplings. The Lockhouse Ruins and stone wall were becoming encraoched with Ivy and various invasives.
