The Alliance for Climate Protection is offering a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of the climate change movement. Founded in 2006 by Former Vice President Al Gore, the Alliance for Climate Protection is a non-partisan organization committed to igniting public action to help solve the climate crisis.
A full-time summer internship is available immediately in the Solutions/Policy team at our Washington, DC office.
The intern’s responsibilities will include research on energy and climate-related issues, reading and analyzing policy, preparing briefing materials, and providing other help to the team as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a background and interest in issues related to climate and energy policy. The position requires excellent analytical research skills, strong written and oral communications skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple deadlines and assignments. Applicants who have completed at least 3 years of college education and who have or are pursuing a degree in energy, climate science, environmental policy, or another relevant field are encouraged to apply.
