FS SCA Ongoing Projects

For ongoing projects, the FS-SCA cooperative agreement 09-PA-11132424-105 enables you to request an intern starting in the current fiscal year and extend the project with SCA into the next fiscal year. For example, SCA interns can start an invasive species project this September and return next spring to continue with treatment and monitoring.  SCA recruits college students, graduate students and recent college grads year-round, who desire applied field, research, planning and administrative positions. The Forest Service projects and mentoring your agency provides are a critical step in launching professional careers in public lands management. We currently have a cadre of students applying for internships to start in August and September, 2011.

• Submit SCA position request via SCA’s on-line Request web-site: http://mysca.force.com/partner
• Contact your Contracting staff to process a Supplemental Project Agreement (SPA).
