Alum Creek Lake is 7 miles north of Columbus, OH with easy access to I-71. Visitation to the park
is approximately 4 million annually. The local community is very active and there are always lots
of activities going on. Alum Creek Lake provides flood control as well as a multitude of

You will assist with and conduct interpretive programs, clean-up programs, environmental education programs, and water safety programs. You may also conduct visitation surveys, and inspect and maintain recreation areas and facilities. You will assist with daily visitor center operations, excluding money handling. There may be opportunities to help develop outdoor educational opportunities, trails, and wetlands. Provide minor trail and boundary maintenance. Assist in recruitment of and oversight of volunteers. Patrol by boat and vehicle. You will receive a wide range of experience in operation of Corps recreation facilities and flood risk management.
