Paint Creek Lake in south central Ohio - Bainbridge. Rural area with lots of history, rolling hills, great fishing. Paint Creek is a Corps of Engineers facility with a small recreation area, lake, marina, SP campgrounds, trails.

Assist the Corps park ranger/natural resource specialist; provide natural resource management work:  inventory of dying trees on project, plan for what trees to replant, over sight of the bird box program; maintenance of the enviromental waterfall garden; and provide minor trail and boundary maintenance.  Intern will assist in recruitment of and oversight of volunteers; implement the Corps water safety program; patrol by boat and vehicle; learn about and assist with flood damage reduction operations; plan and work at special events representing the Corps.
