Anchorage Interagency Visitor Center is located in historic downtown Anchorage.
Researches, prepares, and presents interpretive programs including illustrated talks, walks, and demonstrations about the natural, cultural, and historical resources on parks, forests, and refuges in Alaska. Assists with special events and programs as well as writing and preparing interpretive materials for the visitor center. Provides general orientations to visitors concerning the recreational opportunities, safety, and wildlife/wildland etiquette on public lands.
