Recent High School Grads & College Students, if you are looking for a great job this spring and summer, consider working in one your local National Parks. We are looking for a diverse pool of candidates for positions in San Francisco’s East Bay.
Positions: Park Rangers and Park Guides, depending on qualifications
Location: Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historical Park, John Muir National Historic Site and Eugene O’Neill National Historic Site
Position Summary: Explain the park and its history to visitors. Deliver programs to park visitors and provide information to help visitors get the most out of their time in the park.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: High school diploma. You must be enrolled in a degree seeking program in a vocational school, college or university.
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license required for many of the jobs.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Ability to pass background investigation.
• Car required for some jobs because some locations are not served by public transportation.
• Desire to work hard, be well groomed, and interact positively with park visitors are requirements of all positions.
Dates: Spring to the end of September.
Pay Rates: From $14.91-$16.68/hour, depending on education and experience.
