A Workshop for Educators
with Clare Walker Leslie

we will walk together to Ashuelot River Park
Join Clare Walker Leslie, nationally recognized artist/naturalist/educator and long-time Antioch University New England teacher, for an afternoon workshop exploring and documenting the natural world, with a focus on awareness. Hone in your observation skills while learning techniques for the classroom and field that will help reengage your students' curiosity in nature. Set up and design your own "seasonal journal," an activity that can be shared with students of all ages. Please bring your own: paper, pencil, any field guides, suitable clothing for being outdoors, and a curious eye.
Clare will have "Keeping a Nature Journal" and several of her other books on hand for sale. Her books will also be available in the Antioch bookstore.
