Project Supervisor: Water Conservation Services

Summary: Supervise MHYC’s day-to-day operations delivering water conservation measures to Metro Area clients.

Essential Functions:

Supervision, Staff Development
•Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate staff in accordance with agency guidelines, agreements and approved budgets.
•Implement a standardized orientation and training for Crew Leaders and Corpsmembers.
•Supervise, monitor and evaluate the work performance of water conservation employees on a regular basis.
•Provide direct support to Crew Leaders in addressing Corpsmember performance.
•Enforce the policies and program procedures outlined in the MHYC employee manual.
•Substitute for Crew Leaders in the field as necessary.
•Promote and maintain positive team morale.
•Support and lead staff toward project and agency goals.
Project Supervision
•Supervise the daily operations and tasks of water conservation projects.
•Supervise the resources and assets allocated to water conservation projects to meet and exceed production goals, ensure quality of service, sponsor satisfaction, revenue generation, inventory control and asset management.
•Resolve on-site client, technical and operational issues to ensure quality control and positive project outcomes.
•Maintain interaction with database developer to ensure project functionality and relevance.
•Assist Sr. Project Manager in maintaining and developing contractor, vendor and affiliate relationships.
•Ensure all aspects of workplace safety including, identifying and implementing corrective measures.
•Assist Client Intake in ensuring effective field communication with clients, Corpsmembers and staff.
•Collaborate with Programs staff to support successful Corpsmember outcomes.
•Assist with the hiring of Corpsmembers (via skills assessment technical test).
•Implement continuing technical education for water conservation crews and staff.
•Supervise site audits and client prospecting.
Administration
•Work closely with Client Intake staff to ensure that all program data is recorded in a timely and accurate manner.
•Assist Sr. Project Manager in compiling and submitting accurate project information for reporting and billing.
•Assist Sr. Project Manager in creating annual project budgets and monthly projections.
•Prepare monthly production and inventory reports.
•Other duties as assigned.

Agency Support
•Promotes agency mission and goals.
•Supports Corpsmember engagement and development.
•Contributes to team effort and collaboration.
•Attend staff and project meetings as designated.

Qualifications:
Education: B.A. / B.S. required. Completed course work in related fields preferred.
Experience: Minimum 2 years supervisory experience working with diverse groups required. Demonstrated experience in general construction, plumbing and/or conservation services preferred. Experience working with young people/ workforce a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
•Knowledge of Conservation Services industry including initiatives, techniques, technologies and materials.
•Knowledge of residential and multi-family conservation needs.
•Ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical, hands-on installation problems.
•Organized and highly detail oriented.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office software, database programs.
•Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and experience.
•Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
•Ability to lift 50+lbs.
•Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
•Must be able to pass background check and drug screening. Will be required to participate in a FBI background check, which involves fingerprinting.
•Ability to legally work in the United States, which will be verified via the federal E-Verify system.

Hours &Compensation
This is a full-time regular, exempt position with benefits. Please specify salary requirements on submitted cover letter. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Some evenings and weekend hours may be required.
