Polar Field Services provides science project planning and management, logistics, field support and infrastructure improvements and maintenance to the National Science Foundation’s ARSLS (Arctic Research Support and Logistics Services) program. We have an exciting opportunity for an HSE professional to join our team. The HSE Manager will work collaboratively with employees and supervisors to ensure a safe working environment, and to promote a culture of safety driven by employee engagement. This position will require 30-50% travel to remote work sites in Alaska and Greenland, and to other U.S. locations to facilitate training. This is not a supervisory position.
The ideal candidate will have HSE experience supporting remote field sites. Candidates must have a BA and 5-7 years of full-time professional HSE experience, including audits, current knowledge of OSHA and other governmental regulations/requirements, and extensive employee training experience. Cold climate experience and experience with tower climbing and rescue are preferred. This position will be located in our Littleton, CO headquarters.
