JOB SUMMARY:
The Department of the Interior is devoted to protecting and preserving the natural resources of this great nation, including National Parks, Landmarks, and the well-being of communities, including those of Native American, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and affiliated Islanders.
This position is established in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Policy, Management, and Budget, Office of Youth, Partnerships and Service. As a program analyst, the incumbent will serve as partnerships coordinator for the Department of the Interior which reports to the Director, Office of Youth, Partnerships, and Service. The incumbent is responsible for providing program and technical advice, as well as carrying out special projects for a broad range of initiatives for which the office has responsibility. The incumbent will be responsible for promoting the effective use of partnerships and cooperation to produce innovative, mutually beneficial, enduring resource solutions in support of the Department of the Interior’s mission. The incumbent will assist the Director in managing the office and program functions.
