Position Description

The Communications Intern assists the communications department with all related media relations activities, including building and maintaining media lists, writing and editing press releases, advisories, etc., monitoring media placements, pitching stories and any other administrative tasks needed.

Position Requirements

Recent college graduate or candidate for graduation with a degree in Journalism, Communications or Environmental Studies.
Excellent oral and written communications skills are necessary, as is proficiency with PC software including Microsoft Word. Online communication/social networking skills are desired.
