Denali Lead Trails Worker

The Trails Worker (Lead) works under the direction of the Trails Supervisor. This position is responsible for working with one or more crews generally engaged in new trail construction or major reconstruction projects in the front country and backcountry of Denali National Park and Preserve. The incumbent will typically work with 10 employees on two crews working on projects that include foot trails in Wilderness, off-highway vehicle trails, and front country paths. With guidance from the Trails Supervisor, the incumbent will survey and mark trails prior to construction, procure materials, tools and equipment for the crews, and will provide detailed construction specifications to the crew leader that will build the trail.
