Camp Ocean Pines is currently seeking Outdoor Education Staff for Spring/Fall 2011:

Outdoor Education Director. To oversee and run all aspects of a high quality outdoor education program. Science or education degree and experience running an OE program are required prerequisites to this position. If you've been an APD in a quality program, this is the time to take the next step in your career. This position doesn't come open often. Pay is salary of $32k/9month year (Dec, July, Aug off)

Assistant OE Program Director. Leading the staff and running the details of the OE program, this is a step up from Naturalist. You must have a college degree in science/education and experience as a top naturalist in a quality program are prerequisites. You will still be teaching as a lead naturalist, but it is also an opportunity to spread your wings, develop some new programs, learn staff leadership, and grow professionally. This is a new position for Camp Ocean Pines.

Naturalist. College degree required, along with a desire to teach students in an outdoor setting. You will use your skills and learn many new skills in animal husbandry of raptors, marine invertebrates, reptiles, etc. Pay is $40/session, up to 3 sessions/day. Housing onsite available.
