Director of Education Position at Schooner Inc - New Haven, CT

Schooner Inc is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting environmental awareness and personal growth by providing educational experiences in marine science, sailing, and the history of Long Island Sound and its watershed.   Schooner Inc is divided into 2 diviosions: CT Coastal Classrooms (educational programs of Schooner Inc) and the Schooner Quinnipiack (a 91-foot gaff-rigged floating classroom and schooner).

Qualified applicants will be responsible for all programs in our Connecticut Coastal Classrooms 'division' of Schooner Inc - summer camps, school programs, vacation camps, and afterschool programs.  Experience in Marine Biology/Science is required as well as 3-5 years in Environmental/Marine Education programs.  Tall ship & small boat sailing experience HIGHLY recommended.
