Seattle mayor wants to speed up city projects

If the shovels are ready, let's go to work. That's the message from the Seattle mayor's office. Mayor Greg Nickels wants to speed up more than $300 million worth of construction and maintenance projects and compress four years of work into two starting as soon as possible.
