Cape Cod National Seashore’s 40 miles of pristine ocean beach and 44,000 acres make it a premier destination for exploring natural and cultural features and enjoying recreational activities.
You will assist the park curator with museum collection tasks, including cataloging, inventory, photography, and library management. You will be performing archaeological lab work, washing artifacts, copying field notes and doing other assigned lab work. You will take GPS readings of cultural resource sites, assist with map research and verify map data, and perform individual projects related to cultural resource management one day per week. This position is funded through the National Park Service Youth Program Initiative; therefore, applicants must be between 18 and 25 years of age.
