Big Hole National Battlefield is nestled between three separate mountain ranges and has the North Fork of the Big Hole River running through it. The park is considered isolated and remote. An ideal canidate would need to have a love for the outdoors and be comfortable with living in such a remote location.

This position consists mainly of working the front desk at the Visitor Center. This includes greeting and orienting visitors, as well as facilitating book sales. As training progresses, formal and informal programs will need to be developed and presented. This position requires someone with strong customer service skills and a desire to learn the art of interpretation.Please note this internship is NOT eligible for an AmeriCorps Education Award.Housing provided is a duplex with private bedroom and bathroom; shared kitchen, living room, and dining areas.
