SCA Alumnus’ Film in DC Environmental Film Festival

Sven and son Elias at the Monterey (CA) Aquarium

The DC Environmental Film Festival presents the World Premiere of A SEA CHANGE: Imagine a world without fish on Saturday, March 14. Sven Huseby (SCA crew leader in 1979 and 1980 at Merck Forest) and his wife Barbara Ettinger are the film makers. We’re hoping to see lots of SCA alumni and members in the audience.

A Sea Change is the first documentary about ocean acidification, the underbelly of climate change. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers Barbara Ettinger and Sven Huseby, and special guest Dr. Richard Spinrad, Assistant Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and Dr. Richard Feely, also of NOAA. For more information visit the Sea Change website or call 202-342-2564.

When: Saturday, March 14, 3:30 pm
Where: National Museum of Natural History, Baird Auditorium, 10th St. & Constitution Ave., NW., Washington, DC
