Are you an alum of the SCA High School program? Want to be famous? Want to get published? Want to inspire hundreds of your peers to join the ranks of SCA? Well that would be just peachy because we need a little help.
We’re looking for special stories that our High School National Placement Manager, Micah Mutrux, can share with this year’s SCA crew applicants in the new monthly C.R.E.W. Letter. He wants perspectives that will help new applicants understand what our programs are like and why all of us who have been on crews think they are so great. Here are some suggested topics:
Above all though, choose a topic that you remember well and is really exciting for you. You don’t have to stick to these topics if there is something else you would rather tell us about. You can see the February C.R.E.W. Letter and examples of these member perspectives online.
So if you are willing to help, send us a paragraph or two (around 100 to 150 words) and include your name, age, hometown, SCA program and a photo. You can email Micah your story and photo or send it to his attention at SCA Headquarters (address at bottom of this page). Micah will let you know if we pick your story and make sure you get a copy of the C.R.E.W. Letter.
