Carl Foster attends North Texas University where he is honing the craft of education and advancing his knowledge in natural history,
anthropology, geology, sciences, sociology, history, and global perspective. "I am open minded, spontaneous,
free-spirited, and fancy-free."
Maggie is from Humble, TX, and has exercised her love for the outdoors through various programs, including the Student Conservation Association. She is a four-time SCA alum including terms with Conservation Leadership Corps, Commuter Crew, National Conservation Crew, and NPS/SCA Academy.
Victoria lives in Lowell, MA and is pursuing a degree in political science at the University of Massachusetts. Victoria is currently working at Lowell National HIstorical Park as a park ranger and would like to expand her capacity by exploring other national parks.
Sydney lives in Savannah, GA and attends Savannah State University pursuing a degree in business/administration and resource management. Sydney's lovable and calm nature make him a favorite of everyone he meets while his goal-driven attitude helps him achieve his objectives.
Joseph, from McDonough, GA, and will be continuing his higher education at the University of Georgia this spring for a degree in Forestry. Coming from an active background, Joseph would like to further explore the outdoors by way of seasonal work as a forest ranger or wildland firefighter.
Gimie lives in Silver Spring, MD and is pursuing a degree in social work with a minor in sociology at the University of Maryland. Born in Haiti, Gimie's strong communication skills and diplomatic nature help her adjust to new and increasingly complex challenges.
Ashley attends South Carolina University and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Education. Ashley's lighthearted nature and positive outlook color her interactions as she interacts with and educates others.
Ashlee from McDonough, GA, is attending Fort Valley University pursuing a bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences. Ashlee is passionate about her major and the specimens she works with, this passion translates to her interactions with the environment and other people.
Ariel from Lawrenceville, GA, is attending the University of Georgia for a bachelor's degree in Food Sciences. She is goal-oriented, ambitious, and inquisitive about nature and diverse perspectives.
Ali, from Arcata, CA is attending Humboldt University, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies. She is explorative and playful in nature. She is exploring field work opportunities in order to dial in her career pathway.
Alfredo, from San Antonio, TX is pursuing a Master's in Public Affairs at St. Mary's University. He is currently pursuing job opportunities in the National Parks, specifically with Grand Teton National Park.
Through a partnership with SCA and Friends of the Forest Preserves, Carina has completed an urban prescribed fire internship and led a crew of high school students in Chicago. Currently, she collaborates with 25 students which participate in the Chicago community program; facilitating youth led community workshops, sustaining three community gardens, providing green job readiness training, and promoting environmental stewardship.
Hailing from Marietta, GA, Youn has traveled the world and the nation teaching, adventuring, exploring, and spreading the word of conservation. She currently lives in southwestern New Hampshire and will be starting Antioch University New England in the fall with a concentration in Environmental Education.
In January, Lisa began a serious endeavor to complete all 9 seasons of the X-files series. She's currently in the third season of this show. Mulder's sagacity, determination, and unwavering quest for the truth exemplify Lisa's ideal human being. She also enjoys the outdoors.
On Lee started working with SCA over 10 years ago, as a high school volunteer, intern, then crew leader. She currently lives in Vancouver, BC and enjoys biking, hiking, and ecology. She holds a Masters in Botany from North Carolina State and has done research in Costa Rica, Brazil, and New Zealand.
