FWS Tribal Youth Intern

Work will be performed at St. Catherine Creek NWR, 21 Pintail Lane, Sibley, MS 39165.

This position is located at St. Catherine Creek National Wildlife Refuge in Natchez, MS.  Intern will perform a wide variety of duties including work in the refuge visitor center greeting visitors, answering telephones and selling permits to hunters and fishermen, assist staff biologists with data collection or invasives control, as well as oversee one Youth Conservation Corp student in the field.  Intern will also be required to complete data entry using basic Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel programs.  Intern may also be asked to assist staff with outreach and educational programs on an intermittent basis.  Work schedule is 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday except for Federal holidays.Please not that this position is not eligible for SCA AmeriCorps and applicants will not be eligible to receive an AmeriCorps Education Award.
