The Refuge is located in Southeast Florida in Palm Beach County. The Refuge is 143,954 acres in size and is mostly wetland.
This position offers you an excellent opportunity to get experience in all the aspects of running and managing a complex and controversial Refuge. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Refuges water quality monitoring team, biology team, exotic plant and animal control team, public use team, and management team. The Refuge has a number of partners including a Friends Group, multiple non-profit organizations, the County, State, and multiple Federal organizations.
