You will assist in trapping/banding of wood ducks, mourning doves and songbirds. Other duties will include assisting in moist-soil management, invasive species control and plant surveys. EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES: The refuge is complexed with 4 other refuges in North Central Louisiana and you will have a chance to visit and work on these as well. Sport/Bossier is a large metroplex with a variety of events offered year round. Large amounts of Forest Service land is close by for other outdoor recreational opportunities.
